Terms of Use
1. The licence
When you buy QuickReadMac you are buying a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the app, not the software itself. The licence covers the number of Macs stated in the plan you bought: Single (1 Mac), Duo (2 Macs), Family (4 Macs in one household). Updates are included indefinitely at no extra cost.
2. Free trial
QuickReadMac runs for three days without a licence so that you can evaluate it. When the trial ends, reading stops until a licence key is activated. Your reading history and settings are not deleted.
3. What you may not do
Don't resell, sublicense or redistribute the app or your licence key; don't share your key publicly; don't attempt to circumvent the licence check. Doing any of these voids the licence.
4. Refunds
Because there is a free three-day trial, we ask you to use it. If you buy and QuickReadMac genuinely does not work for you, email 1anfibi@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you. Refunds are processed by Polar, our merchant of record.
5. No warranty
QuickReadMac is provided "as is". We have tested it and we use it ourselves, but we cannot promise it is free of defects or that it will suit every purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
6. Limitation of liability
Our total liability arising out of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or lost profits.
7. Reading speed
QuickReadMac is a reading tool, not a medical or educational treatment. We make no claim that it will produce any particular reading speed or level of comprehension for you, and nothing on this site should be read as a therapeutic or clinical claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here. Material changes will be noted by the "last updated" date.
