What macOS gives you for nothing
- Spoken Content. System Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Spoken Content ▸ Speak selection. Select text anywhere, press ⌥Esc. Extra voices (including the very good Siri and Enhanced ones) download from the same panel, free.
- Safari. Reader view can read an article aloud from the Page menu.
- Apple Books. Will read an ePub aloud page by page.
